When Pascal Rambert writes for the 20 young actors who are about to leave the TNB School after 3 years' training, he does so so that they can be seen, heard and watched. So that their bodies, faces, voices, temperaments and desires appear in the light. He doesn't write situations, he writes "things to experience". For _Dreamers_, a play tailor-made for the young actors of Class 10, he took the time to meet them. He listened to them, interviewed them. Where do they come from, what did their grandparents do, what are their brothers and sisters called? These private lives
are not presented on stage. They are the deposit that the author harvests.
