Ça ne se passe jamais comme prévu

La Manufacture - Haute école des arts de la scène de Suisse romande presents at Vidy the graduation show of its student-actors, directed by the great Portuguese author and director Tiago Rodrigues. For the past two seasons, he has accompanied the students of the Bachelor Théâtre I program. After a short production presented at Forum Meyrin in 2017, he welcomes them to Lisbon in the spring of 2018, at his theater Teatro Nacional D. Maria II, and wrote a text based on their encounter, which he staged with them under the title ''Ça ne se passe jamais comme prévu''. After the premiere in Lisbon at the end of May, they took to the stage at Vidy in June. Tiago Rodrigues shares with the young actors his pleasure and his interest in a theater that is invented with the complicity of the performers - a literary, generous and inventive theater that he has been developing for almost twenty years, and which today makes him one of the representatives of the renewal of the contemporary theatre scene.
