A bon port

In a war-torn region, a young orphan crosses paths with Mo, a resourceful teenager who offers to find him a family. Mo knows a way : they’ll have to walk to a port, on the other side of the country, by the sea…

And so they set off on a journey fraught with danger. But what are Mo’s real intentions? Can he really be trusted? As for the boy, why is he so fascinated by stories of ogres? Is he as innocent as he seems? Along the way, step by step, they will learn to get to know one another, to understand each other, to reveal themselves, and eventually to grow attached to one another.

Whilst A bon Port centres on the tragedy of child abductions as a weapon of war, it is first and foremost a play about brotherhood.
