Au bois

A mother and her daughter live in town, on the edge of a wood.
The mother isn’t old yet, and the little girl isn’t so little.
The wood isn’t very pretty, but mother and daughter walk through it, wander about in it, and get lost in it.
The grandmother lives on the other side. Is it always the same story? With the Wolf, the Hunter? Not sure. Public Rumour gets involved, the Wood has its secrets, and the Little Girl is a feisty little thing who won’t be taken for a ride.
