YES DADDY

Add to my favorites

Bashar Murkus and Khulood Basel dissect the feeling of extreme loneliness. In an enclosed space as much physical as mental, YES DADDY recounts the ephemeral relationship between an escort and an old man suffering from memory loss. Discovering a space of freedom free of judgment, the young man begins to transform himself during this night from which nothing will remain. But what happens when one person inhabits another's past, revisiting their memory and questioning the way they tell their own story? And how far can we go in the fight against loneliness? Everything is constantly being written and rewritten in this show, where what we discover in one scene can be foiled in the next, as if each new stratum sheds new light on the meaning.
