WHITE OUT

White out is the mountaineering term for the total loss of visibility in terms of distance and direction.
It occurs when the uniform whiteness of a thick cloud cover meets snow-covered terrain, which reflects almost all the light it receives. generating an impossibility to advance or retreat. A dead-end situation that can have extreme consequences.
A seemingly soft boundary between life and death, as soft as clouds and snow.

White out is a tribute to all the mountaineers who have disappeared or risked disappearing in the infinite white of the heights: the conquerors of the useless.
