With a diverse, numerous and virtuoso cast, Julie Deliquet seizes on this committed work that looks social reality in the face without any miserabilism, to continue her work on the collective and democracy in action. The adaptation takes these marginal heroes across the Atlantic and beyond. On stage, a 1970s school gymnasium serves as a temporary shelter for this social center, whose life the show follows for an entire day. Three generations of actors, ranging in age from twenty to seventy, traverse fifteen life paths. Each character is irreducible, existing for his or her own sake, and is then led towards the encounter.
