This is the story of a traveling circus that inevitably disturbs the places it passes through. In one square, the troupe deploys the carcass of a whale, an immense sounding board for questions smuggled out of the bowels of the city, like so many ferments of sedition that will disturb the established order, derail the normal course of things. Noëmie Ksicova's adaptation of László Krasznahorkai's novel La Mélancolie de la résistance invites us to experience this tipping point, carried by the voice of a prince-poet hypnotizing the crowds. The director, author and actress accompanies all the sections - acting, directing, dramaturgy, stage management-creation and set design-costumes - of Groupe 48 of the TnS School in this creation that collectively opens the black box of fiction.
