An imaginary country. 1,001 kilometers. An odyssey. Odysseus is about to set off. But this time, Penelope isn’t going to just stand by—her bags are packed. One by one, she weaves together and unravels the threads of the stories and islands he has yet to tell her. Brought to life by this puppet, everyday objects open up the imaginary landscapes of Turakie, a land just waiting to be explored.

Turakie is an imaginary country born from archaeological digs at the bottom of pockets! Since it’s nomadic, it has been carried to the four corners of the world. From cities to villages, from islands to mountainsides, through marvelous adventures woven from worn-out and transformed objects. It is this journey around the world through Turakie—told in little bits of string—that will be shared with you.

Each chapter of this odyssey will be an opportunity to experience a new adventure. Life there resembles a game of the Goose; each square brings its own set of trials, riddles, and solutions—full of fantasy and wonder. Mythological creatures—half-human, half-beast—rub shoulders with deities, monsters, demons, and magicians.
The story unfolds from island to island, weaving and unraveling a dreamlike and bewildering narrative, open to all manner of inventions.
