Hamlet, Othello, Cleopatra, Macbeth, Juliet, Lear and other Shakespearean figures, surrounded by present-day beings circulate here as in a director's dream. Working with fifteen young African and European artists, the author has conceived this confrontation, at once voodoo ceremony and theatrical epiphany.

Shakespearean narratives mutate into ouvroirs of potential fictions where the chaos of the world is orchestrated. Hamlet is a melancholy revenant with complex relationships with his fiancées and his mother, a multitude of cannibalistic witches want Macbeth's skin, Lear begs in the subway... A choral theater punctuated by abundant monologues where we are invited to abandon ourselves, all rationality appeased, to Dieudonné Niangouna's unbridled and baroque poetry, with a very contemporary orality: a gush of images that propels the narrative flow.
