Seuls
Montreal student Harwan is about to fly to St. Petersburg to meet director Robert Lepage, the subject of his thesis, when he learns that his father is in a coma. A succession of events leads him to confront himself through Rembrandt's masterpiece, The Return of the Prodigal Son. With Seuls, Wajdi Mouawad opens a creative cycle called Domestique in which he explores another mode of working, turning over the soil of intimacy and tracing a family cartography described by five characters. After Seuls, a figure of the son, comes the solo Soeurs currently being toured. Frères, Père and Mère will be created and presented at La Colline over the seasons.
