Race d'Ep
Réflexions sur la question gay
Through a bold collage of two works of gay literature, Race d'Ep updates and questions the here and now of the homosexual question. From the crossing of La Mort difficile (tragic fiction written in 1926 by René Crevel), whose narrative traces the final evening of a young man who, driven by the hope of living a happy love story, sends everything flying at the risk of his existence, to the performance of the auto-fictional literature of Guillaume Dustan, a radical and insolent writer and character of the 90s, the show proposes a hybridization between eras and self-fictions, inviting the∙la spectator∙rice to a sensitive and performative plunge into the "gay question".
