Poings

Poings was born of the meeting of Justine Berthillot (circus artist) and Pauline Peyrade (author) at a Sujet à Vif. On this occasion, they invited Antoine Herniotte (sound designer) to join them. Together, they created -EST for the 2015 Avignon Festival. In 2016, Pauline Peyrade and Justine Berthillot founded #CiE in Lyon.

Poings is the desire of three authors to bring their writing into dialogue. Text, body and sound merge, contradict and respond to each other, on the page and all the way to the stage.
Poings is a struggle to regain a sense of self. Five moments in a love affair perverted by violence. They are five radically biased gestures that plunge us into the heart of an obsessive obsession.
