Nous les minuscules

Add to my favorites

An epic and poetic tapestry, Nous les minuscules captures the pulse, the drive, and the vitality of a passionate youth that refuses to be defeated. For more than two years, Ahmed Madani traveled through France, Switzerland, and Belgium, meeting and listening to the stories of hundreds of young people whose deep-seated commitment is second nature to them. These are young people, full of life, who protest, resist, and mobilize for political, environmental, or social causes—people who refuse to bear the weight of the past or the injustices of the present. He assembled a group of about ten people for this theatrical, choreographed, and musical performance, co-produced by the TDB. Ahmed Madani brings these intimate stories to life and showcases bodies in anger, with emotion and poetry. Spilling beyond the stage, these bodies in struggle sing and scream to a frenzied rhythm amid an electrifying atmosphere of chaos that alternates with immersive videos and a contemplative soundscape.
