Nos ailes brûlent aussi
Echoing the struggles, aspirations and disillusionment stemming from Tunisia's 2011 revolutionary experience, Myriam Marzouki and Sébastien Lepotvin bring to life on stage the whirlwind of conflicting emotions triggered by the transition from dictatorship to democracy and the hope of living with dignity.
What happens to a revolution after the revolution? Ten years of the country's recent history are the starting point for a sensitive immersion in a people's quest for freedom. The director composes a visual poem for the three performers, where bodies and music restore the rhythms of a political path, rich in contrasting emotions.
