Morphage
A proponent of a theater of sensation, Valérian Guillaume stubbornly works with language, sound and visual matter to produce the unexpected and emotion. Playing on echoes and correspondences, he sets out to shake up routines, disturb classifications, awaken the sleeping, and reconnect the disjointed compartments of human experience. Listening to the inner song, he boldly departs from reasoning in search of resonance. Inspired by the phantasmagorias of the 18th century, but using all the possibilities of the digital age, Morphage combines, in a captivating dialogue, poetic improvisation, live music, video projection and visual creation. Drawn in by sounds and signs, the spectator finds himself plunged into a deep, dreamlike forest, in perpetual metamorphosis.
