Magec/The Desert

Choreographer Radouan Mriziga dances between Arab and European traditions. Magec explores the wisdoms of the desert and its relationship to time, light and movement. Carried by a polyphony of texts, sounds and gestures, from yesterday and today, this contemporary choreography draws on the myths, rhythms, crafts and embodied practices of desert peoples. In this way, the multiple logics of living beings are revealed, and a time opens up for meditation, welcoming the unheard-of intelligences of natural worlds.
