A woman goes back in time and says what she's never said before. Marital violence, her mother's voluntary death, her mad love for relatives, the countryside, the four seasons, her Jules, her daughter.
The past often invades her present! And so she revisits events, beloved places, intimate dramas, laughs about them; she sings, shows photos, reads letters. "Memory is a thirst quencher", she says! Universal words, familiar figures, everyone finds themselves in these stories of families, couples, landscapes... Life as it is; terrible and wonderful! It could be called "A Simple Life" or "A Woman".
The advantage of an author who is also the director of his play is that he can intervene in the text: cut, modify, add. With Catherine Pietri, we've already begun to "betray" the text by adding lazzis that the actress invents... The idea is to give the show a burlesque, clownish color.
