They could have done the same as everyone else. But because they no longer wanted to float in liquid society, because they hoped to give a little meaning and flavor to their existence, these four took a step aside. They went elsewhere, to the countryside. They have a few big words in their heads. But they don't arrive armored with doctrines. They come with their hopes, their desire for something different. Their bric-a-brac of ideas and utopias. Their questions, their concerns, their naiveté. They throw everything into the adventure. The path is made by walking. They walk. In this show, where contemplation, hesitation and derision have their place, the Mélodrame Production collective plays neither leaders nor pioneers. Simply a few modest dissidents, confronted with our common urgency: to start all over again, to rebuild everything on a different basis.
