On the stage, the audience forms a circle around eight fans. A puppet master appears. Dressed in black, he cuts and sculpts plastic bags, equipped with scissors and tape. Before our very eyes, each bag embodies one of the dancers in this incredible aerial ballet. Pirouettes, jumps, graceful circles, they link together figures of great elegance. Accompanied by Debussy's delicate impressionist music, the breath emerges: the inanimate becomes animate, the ordinary becomes a source of wonder.

Choreographed by Phia Ménard, a singular artist invited to La Comédie for the first time, this iconic piece never ceases to gracefully explore the poetry of metamorphosis. Questioning the relationship between humans and the elements, the choreographer and circus performer reveries on air, invisible matter that is not easily mastered. The foehn, named after a dry, warm wind in the Alps, becomes the main character in this virtuoso fairytale for the delight of young and old alike.
