La Forteresse

A clinic is threatened with imminent closure. As a testing ground for an alternative model of psychiatry, it upholds the belief that before treating patients, one must treat the institution itself. Daily life, just like consultations, is part of the care process. Inspired by her immersion at the La Borde clinic, Elsa Revcolevschi, author and director, explores this model through a multidisciplinary approach that gives ample space to the visual arts and pictorial creation. How do people take care of themselves when utopia is on the verge of disappearing? La Forteresse gives us the means to carry out a “slow revolution”: in opposition to the illusions of the great revolution, this production holds the promise of reinventing, day by day, the dawn of hospitality.
