La Boutique des Rêves

Laurenz is a quiet office worker. One evening, he takes a detour on his way home and walks into a strange shop. The salesman offers him the chance to experience three dreams that will change his life.

Equipped with headphones, the audience members are placed “inside Laurenz’s ears.” Constructed in full view by the three performers, the dreams turn the office space upside down, transforming it into a train hurtling at full speed, a race car, a rocket, a boat... “Le Petit Vertige,” an instrument designed by luthier Léo Maurel, bridges the gap between worlds. Binaural recordings and live performance transport the audience—parents and children alike—to the threshold of a porous boundary between theater and music, dream and reality.
