Hêtre et Phasmes
Two forms, one living pulse
At the crossroads of dance and circus, choreographer Fanny Soriano explores the links that unite humans and their natural environment. In Hêtre, a woman and a suspended branch engage in a wild, hypnotic hand-to-hand encounter. This story of gentle metamorphosis is matched by the acrobatic dazzle of Phasmes. In a chiaroscuro, a mysterious being - at once animal, mineral and vegetable - mutates, giving birth to fabulous forms, like insects without tail or head... Two small poetic forms for the same out-of-reality experience, where, behind the unexpected, the dazzling emerges.
