Fanfare, Tout a une fin sauf la saucisse qui en a deux

Add to my favorites

Is this a comedy show? A widow puts on a show, and the funeral band might as well be playing a cheerful tune. Death certainly doesn’t stop the living. Or is it death that throws them off track? Every day, each of us takes a step toward the end, and every day, each of us tries to take two steps back. It’s a dance that leads to all sorts of mishaps. In this tragicomic one-woman show, Anne-Lise Heimburger is joined by five top-notch musicians—all wind players!—and blends the great musical and literary repertoire with popular folklore. Together, they bring to life the oxymoron of life and death and discover, through this adventure, that all it takes is to speed up a funeral march four times for it to become a polka.
