Et dire que j’ai ton sang dans mes veines

This is the story of a son's quest. A quest for truth and reparation within a family ruled by silence. After finding a photo from his childhood, one in which he appears happy, the son returns to the family setting to question his parents and sister. On a farm in Normandy, the four members of the family struggle with the material of their childhood and shared past.
Replaying family rituals one after the other, the story becomes increasingly surreal and labyrinthine. The protagonists lose themselves in the meanders of what we call truth. But in the midst of this mental huis clos, a seed keeps germinating in their heads: Is it possible to escape violence? Can we escape the lichen that grows on our skins?
