Espérances

Echoing Doléances, Stanislas Roquette presents the result of a one-year residency in the Amiens Métropole region. Where the 2019 archives echoed with anger, *Espérances* gives voice to a renewed and poetic perspective. Performed by twenty amateur actors, this production is the culmination of numerous workshops, meetings, and discussion groups held in high schools and neighborhoods across the metropolitan area. Setting aside political demands for a moment in favor of the imagination, these contemporary witnesses take the stage to answer a fundamental question: what kind of life do we dream of?
