Dance d'un retour au village natal. Ivorian choreographer Nadia Beugré takes to the stage with two singer-griottes-musicians in search of a secret, fantastic village, the village of her grandmothers in Côte d'Ivoire, which saw her grow up. It no longer exists, it's gone. So her steps lead her to a grandmother, a bluff-woman and other powerful women who, in the shadows of memory, made and unmade empires and lineages. This haunted dance is a search for self and the expression of an intimate and historical power, circulatory and boiling, like the blood in the veins.
