En Fanfaare !
This evening, it's Mozart and fanfare! Tatiana Julien signs a thunderous return without drums or trumpets, but for a dancing, singing chorus. Eight bodies moved by a contagious movement, the sublime aria from the Enchanted Flute chanted like a punk anthem: a vital gesture to ward off the darkness of the present day.
The first thing on Tatiana Julien's mind at the dawn of this creation was youth. What kind of dance, what kind of cry, can we collectively initiate the awakening that is their due? Like an unleashed harmony, En Fanfaaare ! orchestrates in response the clash of antagonisms: suspended momentum against explosive gesture, storms of sound or velvet choirs, fluorescent flashes on opera costumes... But also, the presence of performers and audience in a shared scenographic space right to the heart of the action... A work in rebellion that takes the art of dissonance to its zenith.
