Derniers feux
In the instant before a firework explodes, eleven performers in a storm of images, dances and abandoned objects, persist in creating one last show.
Fireworks fascinate with their ambivalence. Its detonation evokes celebration as much as war. It brings people together as much as it surprises them, mixing fear with excitement. Drawing on the images it brings with it and memories straight from the collective memory, Derniers Feux is interested in the moment before the explosion, that suspended time from which dreams emerge. Surrounded by dancers and musicians, Némo Flouret conjures up this turmoil, this gray zone, buffeted by opposing winds, capturing all the beauty of pyrotechnics: expectation, anticipation, hope, frustration, breathlessness... To the sound of trumpets, broken melodies and rhythms, their persistent, continuous dances exalt the present, as if this show, which they build by tinkering, were the last, indefinitely.
