Chroniques
What happens when time collapses, when bodies no longer obey physical laws? What if every gesture were merely an echo, a dizzying repetition through time? In Chroniques, Peeping Tom takes five characters into a temporal labyrinth, between dream and nightmare.
For over twenty years, Peeping Tom has been developing a disconcerting body of work, blending dance and theater, surrealism and extreme physicality. With Chroniques, the company pushes even further its exploration of liminal zones, where reality cracks, where certainties collapse, where landmarks slip out of reach. This new creation plunges us into an indefinite world, floating between inside and outside, both mental and physical, between the ruins of the past and the mirages of an uncertain future. Time expands, bodies collide, lose themselves and reinvent themselves. We can see the foundations of a construction site of origin, on the edge of the world and matter, where bodies experiment with the laws of a universe in gestation. Nothing is stable, everything is transformed. Imagination becomes a survival tool, poetry a balancing mechanism. And it is perhaps in this instability that the possibility of meaning, or vertigo, emerges.
