When Antigone's two brothers kill each other, Creon, their uncle, takes power in Thebes.
He decides to honor Eteocles with a grandiose funeral, but to leave Polynices' remains to the dogs and carnivorous birds. Faced with what she sees as an absolute injustice, Antigone will risk everything to restore funeral honors to her second brother and oppose her uncle's authoritarian drift.
