3 Saisons et 1 corps
What do you pass on when you've lost everything, when you've had to leave in a hurry, with no luggage? Palestinian artist and poet Mohammed Al Qudwa - invited to Théâtre en mai en 2025 to read his poems on Radio en mai, the festival's radio station - has already lived through five wars in Gaza. He questions the child and teenager he was, the young adult who had to leave northern Gaza in a hurry for the south, leaving behind his memories and the memory of his past life. By evoking the destruction of a territory and its history, Mohammed Al Qudwa questions the future and the possibility of hope. Supported in production by the TDB and accompanied by the PAUSE program of the Collège de France, this solo is a transdisciplinary show combining theater, dance and karate. It puts words to the unspeakable, and the way war destroys bodies and memories.
