L'Infâme

Tana is a young girl starting a sewing apprenticeship. She has left her mother's home and is living with her employer, in exchange for extra hours in the workshop. Rather, she ran away from a mother who made her ill. She cut herself off. She buries herself in silence and work in the workshop. At the beginning of the play, in September, Tana has no particular appetite for these techniques, of which she knows nothing. She's not very talkative either. She saves, or tries to save, what she can, like the survivor of a major disaster. As the months go by, Tana grows stronger and stronger. With the help of her boss and her best friend, Apolline, in the silence of the workshop and solitary manual labor, she leaves behind the terrors of childhood to face her life. To confront her mother.
