Lénaïc Brulé is an actor, writer and director. Her artistic work lies at the intersection of theatre, writing and outreach projects with vulnerable or marginalised audiences.
She studied drama at the Royal Conservatoire of Mons (Belgium), graduating in 2009. After appearing in three productions with Le Groupe Sanguin, a collective she co-founded, she is now developing her work in a more distinctive and personal direction.
Ricochet, her first play (Éditions Lansman, 2022), has received several awards in France and Belgium, as well as the SACD’s Beaumarchais writing grant. She is directing the production at the Théâtre des Martyrs from 4 to 15 November 2026.
Since 2011, she has been developing participatory artistic forms – whether theatrical, written or radio-based – with vulnerable audiences to highlight and denounce societal issues. She works with people with disabilities, those living in extreme precariousness, and those in an irregular administrative situation.
She has worked in Côte d’Ivoire, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda. Over the years, her career has taken on an international dimension, with further professional experience in Argentina, Lebanon and Quebec.
She is currently putting the finishing touches to *Adèle et l’Iran*, which has received a writing grant from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation and support from several international writing residencies. She has also written *Fissures* (Éditions Lansman, 2024) and co-authored *King Grenouille* (Les Cahiers Luxembourgeois, 2023).
